Relaxation and sportiness are combined in the seats of the new E-Class Coupé. The front seats are ergonomically designed and come equipped as standard with NECK-PRO head restraints. Their design provides optimum stability for the driver and front passenger even when a dynamic driving style is preferred. The height and backrest inclination feature electric adjustment as standard. The passengers in the back seats enjoy comfortable upholstery with individual seat design and integrated head restraints. There is an open stowage compartment between the rear seats along with a double cup holder under a rolling cover. The backrests can also be divided when transporting bulky objects.

The memory package further enhances comfort. Use it to automatically adjust the electrically operated seats (including 4-way lumbar support), the steering column and exterior mirrors to the driver’s settings.

PARKTRONIC parking aid incl. Parking Guidance and parking space measurement

When parking or looking for a parking space, the driver can call on the assistance of the PARKTRONIC system. Ultrasonic sensors automatically measure the length of parking spaces parallel to the car when moving at a speed of 30 km/h or less. If a suitable space is found, Parking Guidance then provides precise instructions on the correct steering angle and points at which to turn.

It has separate temperature controls for the driver, front passengers and rear area. In addition the fully automatic climate styles of DIFFUSE, MEDIUM and FOCUS are available for selection. THERMOTRONIC keeps the desired temperature continually constant and takes other exterior factors such as sunlight, air quality and humidity into account via its sensors.

Sensors record the interior and exterior temperatures and other data such as the intensity and direction of sunlight, and for each of the three temperature zones individually adjust the heating, cooling or fan as necessary. The system also includes air recirculation, a defrost outlet for the windscreen and a fine dust filter.
