An toàn bao giờ cũng tốt hơn

Cảm biến mưa: hoạt động cực nhạy.

Với thiết bị cảm biến mưa, bạn cũng có thể điều chỉnh cho đèn xe tự động bật khi trời tối hoặc đi qua đường hầm.

Hệ thống cảm biến cũng giúp duy trì tầm nhìn qua kính chắn gió, kích hoạt thanh gạt nước và điều chỉnh nhịp độ gạt nước tùy theo cường độ mưa.

Gương chiếu hậu góc nhìn rộng là trang bị tiêu chuẩn cho phần ngoại thất của xe Sprinter, nhờ đó bạn có thể thấy rõ người đi xe đạp hay khách bộ hành khi muốn quay đầu xe.

ADAPTIVE ESP®: stability in an instant

The ADAPTIVE ESP® Electronic Stability Program automatically takes the vehicle load situation into account.

In certain dangerous situations, such as for instance the imminent risk of going into a skid, it intervenes through targeted brake application at single wheels, causing a requirement-appropriate adaptation of the engine’s output as well, to help the driver master the critical situation.

ADAPTIVE ESP® integrates the functions of the anti-lock braking system (ABS), acceleration skid control (ASR), electronic brake force distribution (EBV), Brake Assist BA and start-off assist (AAS, optional) whilst also adding a handling stability aid.

Brake system. Great stability

The Sprinter not only is equipped with disc brakes on all four wheels. Our engineers also managed to improve the tried and tested dual-circuit hydraulic brake system still further. An electronic indicator on each of the four wheels additionally tells about the current condition of the brake pads.

An anti-lock braking system (ABS) and electronic brake force distribution (EBD) are standard equipment of the Sprinter, of course, as are the Brake Assist System (BAS) and acceleration skid control (ASR).



Exercising restraint

It’s only the interaction of airbags and belts that enables better protection against impact. So the Sprinter panel van not only has full-size airbag for driver, but also three-point seat belts, head restraints, belt tensioners, belt force limiters and belt reminders.

Belt reminders give the driver or co-driver a visual and audible signal if they fail to put on their seat belts.

In a collision, belt tensioners instantly take all slack out of the belts and enhance passive safety in the event of an accident.

Rigid passenger safety cell

If the worst comes to the worst, it’s good to know that, with the Sprinter, you have chosen a robust and safe place to be. A highly stress-resistant system of beams and a high-strength safety cell are the basis of its safety body. Both are optimised for strength and stiffness during the design phase in respect of protection of occupants and other road users.

So-called deformation boxes in the front structure of the Sprinter divert the forces of an impact in a well-directed and controlled manner.

This helps the passenger cell retain stability in the event of a head-on collision, to provide better protection to the occupants.



Secure load

Loose cargo can develop a dangerous dynamism of its own on the road. The Sprinter panel van consequently offers a varied and flexible load-securing system to secure objects to the floor and walls of the cargo area.

Additionally, full-width bulkhead helps to protect the driver and co-driver from cargo which gets out of place.
